          I have a husband who appreciates hand knit goods but is very conservative in his taste in sweaters so making one for him can be tedious, stockingette stitch can get dull.
          This book had him struggling to choose which one he wanted because he liked most of them and all the ones that caught his eye were ones that were more interesting for me to make.
          It seems to have a decent range of sizes (36-56" chest) and I love that there are coordinating accessories too.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I bought this book to make sweaters for my grandsons. They were not enthralled by any of the designs, and the two they considered were either made of too heavy yarn or not a style they liked for school .
