I've made a couple of afghans with this yarn and love how well they've held up. The subtly shifting tonal colors are gorgeous. And having 100g hanks makes me love this yarn even more.

I knitted a cabled vest using this yarn in soft beige colors. In this colorway the color variation was very subtle. I loved everything about the yarn and am considering purchasing enough for a sweater.

i've knit many hats, mittens, and a vest from this yarn; my fussy DH and 2 boys think it is very soft (for wool), so that says a lot about the quality. Very little, if any, pilling. The dye job does not bother me, on smaller items it's totally NOT an issue. on the vest, I used different colorways and it worked great. would make a great afghan yarn too---make a strip of different colors and let the dyes be as they are.

To be perfectly honest, I would give this one-and-a-half stars rather than two. The texture is about average for a 100% wol yarn, but the color... When I began to unwind the skein, my heart dropped. I had expected a muted, lovely, subtly variegated blue, as had been shown in the photographs, but what I got was a hardly-varied, too-vivid electric blue, the likes of which I could have found in a cheap 100% arylic craft yarn sold at a local supply store - for about a tenth of the price. Ick.
