Thought I would treat myself to cashmere socks. Lovely wool to knit with. Knits quickly, but was thicker than I expected. Keeps its shape well. Feels soft and cosy when knit. Because of the 4 ply and the threads not being twisted together, it is too easy to miss a strand while knitting; keep an eye on it as you knit. I knew it was an expensive wool when I bought it, so this was for myself. I would not spend this much to make socks for someone else because the finished garment needs to be handwashed, and this is usually too much work for most people to do.
