I purchased this yarn because it was one of the only worsted yarns I could find in the color I wanted. The color is exactly what I expected from the picture. It knits up well, but there are some sections of yarn that are a little thicker than others. Although, it doesn't seem that you can see the differences after it's knitted. Also, maybe it's something with the way I knit, but the yarn twists as I'm working. I have to keep stopping to untwist. Luckily, I'm working on circular needs, so I can just hold the yarn ball in the air & let it unwind on its own. But, it's still a nuisance.

Comments about Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted:
Knits well. Nice to handle. It sheds a little. I find the yarn to be a little itchy, and wouldn't use it for a scarf or cowl. Hat or mittens would be great.

LOVE the Lamb,s Pride for doing felting projects. I tried other brands for a current project, and the project failed. With Lamb's Pride, PERFECT. AND WEBS had the unusual color I needed.

Comments about Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted:
I knit this into hats and then felt. It works very well for this -- it knits fast and holds the felted shape. I would NOT like it for other things as it is itchy.
The colors are fairly nice and the solids match the varigated colors. In real-life they are a close match to what's on the web.

Comments about Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted:
Have used this yarn for years. It is a great muti-purpose yarn. Soft - good for blankets, sweaters or almost anything. Items knit with this yarn will be very, very warm. Always of a consistent high quality. Shows great stitch definition. Comes in many colors. Does not require swifting!!
