first of all, the color and feel of this yarn is incredible, and i truly deeply adore it, so you can imagine my dismay when i hand washed my most beloved project hooked from this only to discover that it felted. while i know this shouldn't come as a huge surprise since it is 100% wool, i feel compelled to share that if you love your completed piece, never, EVER wash it, even by hand. dry clean it or you, too, will shed the bitter tears i am mopping off of my keyboard now.

I used this yarn recently to make a bulky lace pullover for myself. The yarn was indeed soft, but it also pilled, shed, and split. The negatives far outweighed the positives and resulted in a frustrating knitting experience!

I used this yarn recently to make a bulky lace pullover. It is soft, but sheds and pills a great deal. And because it is barely twisted, it splits horribly and is very weak in areas causing it to break if tugged too hard. A first and last yarn experience for me. Not recommended!

I am making a cable-knit blanket for my inlaws for xmas. Though they recommend using 15's I really feel like thats waaaaay to tight. especially for a blanket. size 19 circulars (47 inch) are working really well. I cast on 74 stitches and the blanket will be about 20 inches wide and with 9 skeins it will be nearly 8 feet long. a really luscious blanket. I will have to make more!!
