Classic Elite Yarns Fresco
You will not believe how soft Classic Elite Fresco is! The 6 ½ stitch to the inch gauge makes this yarn perfect for colorwork and delicate projects. Fresco's three plies are soft and squishy, in deep colors with a little shine that gives great stitch detail. Made in Peru.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Fresco:
Used for Jared Flood's Beaumont as written and later with color modifications. Have now made 5 of these hats. It is a great yarn for this pattern. Would love to try it for a sweater, it would be very warm and soft.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Fresco:
I purchased this yarn as it was used by the designer for the Circle Sweater in the Vogue Crochet special edition. I was quite pleased with the stitch definition and softness of the yarn. The sweater turned out perfect. I will definitely purchase again!

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Fresco:
I love working with this yarn! I used it to make a fair Isle sweater for my husband and I want to use it on a sweater drees for me. It want fast to knit. The only problem I had was that when I ordered the 'Root Beer' color it was a purple color. Since I wanted to use it in my husband sweater I was disappointed that it wasn't brown. But I'll use it for my dress. ALL the other colors I've ordered we're true to the pictures and names

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Fresco:
i used the yarn to make a hat. it's quite soft and looks nice and even. after washing it stretched out a bit. my only complaint is i ordered the 'tomato' color, thinking it's going to be a bright red. it's actually a brick orangey red.

I used this for a "Leftie" shawl. It's wonderfully soft from the alpaca and angora. The colors are lovely, perfect for stranded colorwork.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Fresco:
I have used Fresco for a Fairisle hat and a stitch work scarf. The yarn shows both techniques well. The halo makes a lovely finish and both are next to the skin soft to wear. I will use Fresco again. It is an excellent yarn.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Fresco:
I made the Selbu Modern Hat by Kate Gagnon Osborn with this yarn and I couldn't be more pleased. The yarn is soft, has a beautiful halo and there are so many colors to choose from.
The yarn is absolutely worth the price for quality in a fingering weight yarn.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Fresco:
Very soft, beautiful yarn. It knits up at quite a fine gauge (almost sock weight), but that's what I wanted. Easy to work with and knits up quickly.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Fresco:
I purchased Fresco before I knew what I would knit. I loved the mottled gray colorway in Graystone. It is so soft, lightly haloed, and very squishy. I decided to make a shawl with it and had to purchase two additional hanks. I've even begun putting beads on it. Also I've had very little splitting with it, and I'm knitting on metal circulars.
Only comment I would make is that I do notice small tufts of fiber that get worked loose. I only hope it does not shed on my dress as I'll be wearing this to a wedding. Other than that I adore this yarn. It has wonderful strength, it's got some give in it when knitting, it knits up super soft and is very warm. I definitely look forward to creating another project with this yarn.
