      Comments about Great Adirondack Lolita:

This is a beautiful yarn. The color shifts are absolutely gorgeous. Deep, saturated color. It rally looks and feels like a fingering weight, even though it's listed as sock weight. The texture is very uniform and will yield excellent stitch definition. It's too bad that the photos don't show the entire skein. The colors are magnificent and varied.

      Comments about Great Adirondack Lolita:

This is beautiful, but I got the Lolita Antique, and the color is NOTHING like the one in the pic. Mine looks more like the copper. It's very dark with various colors. I was hoping to get something light and colorful, and I got the opposite. It is however soft and beautiful, but I'm bummed this wasn't even close to what I was expecting.

Have not yet made anything with this yarn but love the look and hand of the yarn. Plan on designing either a scarf or shawlette with the yarn.

          Comments about Great Adirondack Lolita:

I am making a ruffled scarf. I love the colors and how they are knitting up without pooling. This is a strong yarn yet soft to the touch. The shine or luster is greater than what I'd get with a merino/silk blend. The yarn does not split. The yarn does not pill. The yardage is generous enough to make a matching scarf and fingerless glove set.

I would buy this yarn again and again. It is strong, doesn't pill, and has a lovely sheen. It's perfect for lace projects and the colors don't hide the pattern.

            soft and shiny pleasantly surprised

Soft, good bounce, shiny and easy to knit with. If i didnt know it was bamboo/merino I would have guessed silk/merino. Makes lovely cables, I am making the 'jeanie' drop stitch cable wrap from the knitty site and its coming out like a dream. The color gradations are just great. What I got (lolita)looks very close to what was pictured on-line, you must remember that these are hand-dyed and each hank is unique the basic colors are the same, proportions are different.

I think the colors look like I expected them to. Very soft, I've only had the chance to knit a quick swatch but now I can't wait to start a project.

            colors...

            Comments about Great Adirondack Lolita:

The yarn is nice, but I am very disappointed in the representation of the colors online. Neither of the hanks I bought look like the ones pictured here. Very upsetting.

Just beautiful! So soft, and with an almost shimmery sheen to it that wool/silk mixes can't match. It knits up beautiful, with subtle color shifts. If you try it you won't be disappointed! Or if you are, send the yarn my way!
