I used this for a baby hat for someone else to give. The gifter requested the softest yarn I could find that would still be washable and this fit the bill. It is lovely and soft to work with, the colors are amazing (and consistent), and it works up beautifully with nice stitch definition. I love singles but they shed terribly; this has almost no shed and I love it for that. My only qualm is the price point for the yardage. It is definitely a splurge and for my part will only be purchased for someone who I know will use and cherish the end product.

I started to make baby blankets for all my friends. I was first given this Jil Eaton yarn by my mother in law and fell in love with it. Its easy to work with as a novice knitter. I like the feel of the yarn and the ease of moving it around on my needles. I'm on my third blanket with this exact yarn.

The colors are bright and fun. This yarn knitted up beautifully and is super soft. I wish that this came in worsted or sport.

This is one of the most wonderful yarns I have used. It is soft, knits up very evenly and is sooooo soft. Kids especially love it. Perfect for babies and little ones as it is machine washable. My only criticism is the limited range of colors. While the shades it comes in are lovely, bright clear colors; they are mostly 'kid colors' (if you kniow what I mean. Would love to see it in some darker, more soophisticated colors soon !!Great Yarn though and good yardage
