Jojoland Rhythm
Jojoland Rhythm is a super soft worsted weight wool. It has gorgeous, long color shifts, so the yarn does all of the work for you. Think Jojoland Rhythm for stunning wraps, sweaters and accessories. There is a beautiful entrelac triangle shawl pattern available.
Note: Due to the long color shifts, every color may not be represented in every ball.

Rhythm achieves its color shifts one ply at a time resulting in a highly variable marled effect. No two balls are alike and every color shift if different. If you are doing a sweater, plan carefully. I used color M19 for Sarah James Entrelac Sweater WS105 because its modular design minimized the need to join balls. Picking up the entrelac stitches was not a problem, and the changing colors made knitting an adventure. My son commented that the seed stitch panels reminded him of the coloring of rainbow trout. The entrelac panels wet-blocked beautifully into a fabric that had body yet was light and airy. My sweater is warm and light and a pleasure to wear with a turtleneck underneath. In 15 balls I encountered occasional knots and slubs in single plies, which were inconspicuous enough to knit in. There were several knots isolated to a three balls that required splicing.

I was going to use this for an afghan but started to knit and the yellow/purple combination visually turned to grey. In anything but stockinette, this just looked awful. I recommend staying away from color M32. Otherwise, the yarn has a nice feel. I might try another colorway.

Knitted a child's sweater and the color ways came out beautifully, subtle pastels but note the caution in the description, all colors might not on a ball of yarn so plan ahead.

I ordered some of this yarn to teach myself entrelac by making a simple scarf. The result was so lovely that everyone who has seen it says, "I want one." So while it is available, I have ordered more yarn in most of the color combinations to make Christmas and birthday presents. So far, I have not gotten bored with the repetition because it is so much fun to watch the colors change as I knit. That said, I do share some of the concerns that others have expressed. The color stands are so long and many of the balls have so little color variation that large portions of some of my scarves are the same or a similar color, even when I am thoughtful about the order of the balls. This is not a horrible problem with a scarf or shawl, but I would never use this yarn for a sweater.

I am knitting a entrelac shawl with this yarn and I really like this yarn for that project. The long color changes work very well.

I brought this yarn because i loved the colors. i got it home and my daughters both wanted afghans made out if it so I brought lots more of it. I love the way it looks and the feel of it. It has been fun to work with.

I purchased this for a simple project: working a cover for a worn purse. My pattern was a simple square pouch, worked in the round in single crochet. Pulling the yarn from the center of the ball, i worked quickly, spurred on by my desire to see what the next color change would be. It was a delight and the final product has delighted the recipient.
The warning that the color shifts are long should be taken to heart. My six balls all seemed to have different personalities and i still did not get all the colors in the pattern. Attention in queuing the balls should be taken: my first step was to match up as best i could the beginnings of balls to ends so the color shifts would seem part of the design as opposed to abrupt shifts. I was successful in having mostly easy transitions ball to ball.

I am Obsessed with this yarn. Having grownup "a hippie", I have a deep appreciation of the tie-dye look. This is tie-dye of and for the 21st century. I have purchased 180 balls of this yarn, enuff to make 12 sweaters, most of which I am giving to my friends. I have knit some sweaters in the matching and following colors motif and some in stripes, especially the yarns that have the least change in color variation. The stripes really look swell! It's all about the yarn for me and this yarn makes me happy. The garments MUST be washed by hand. The wool loves to shrink and felt.

The color change is so long on this, that having read other reviews, I ordered 6 balls though I only needed 3. The balls I got were all almost identical. Now I have 6 balls of almost all orange, and can't start my project. I'll go find a sale on mochi plus somewhere else. :(

Comments about Jojoland Rhythm:
This yarn reminds me of some Trekking XXL I used to have. Each ply is dyed separately with a long repeat (if any repeat at all!) and then four are plied together. This is not the yarn to choose if you are fastidious about your color placement because there is no color repeat. I knit a swirl coat with it and it is stunning. I chose the red blue berry color way and overall it's a rust color, but there was an entire skein that didn't have a speck of red in it. It still worked into the overall scheme though.
It's wool. Softer than some, but still wool. If wool makes you itch, don't put this next to your skin.
