Valley Yarns
Valley Yarns Goshen
We fell in love with this yarn at first sight. Valley Yarns Goshen is soft but the Modal® and silk not only add a slight sheen, but also durablity. Garments will not pill and will stand the test of time. Made in Peru.

I just finished a sweater for my daughter in law and a dress for my youngest granddaughter. What a delightful yarn to work with. Feels great in the hand and knits up beautifully. Love the light sheen the yarn gives to fabrics. Have now used 15+ balls of this yarn and have found not 1 knot in the skein. This is becoming my new favorite yarn. Hope it's not discontinued and that they add more colors.

Found it difficult to use. Slippery and quite slick, very difficult to maintain even tension on straight single points at recommended size. Size 8 was sloppy and irregular; size 7 achieved 4.5 sts to inch, but still rather sloppy. My only resolution was to knit circularly using SIZE 6 wood tip needle to help control tension and achieve a more balanced fabric swatch with a gauge of about 5 sts and 6 rows to the inch. Highly recommend using smaller needles than size 8 recommended to achieve a better hand in the fabric.

Comments about Valley Yarns Goshen:
This is a super soft yarn. The colours are gorgeous. My only minor complaint is that it is a little bit "splitty" so I wouldn't use it for anything with strands or dropped stitches (clapotis/seafoam stitch etc) but for everything else it is beautiful! I plan on getting the colour card and buying lots more!

Comments about Valley Yarns Goshen:
This yarn is quickly becoming my go to garment yarn, it's very soft, durable, and crochets up very nicely. Amazing stitch definition as well. Not to mention the subtle sheen is gorgeous. I can not say enough about this yarn and plan on purchasing each yarn product from Valley yarns. Affordable yet luxurious.

Comments about Valley Yarns Goshen:
Love this yarn for chemotherapy hats. I made some for a woman at work and she wore them all them time and when she was done, she passed them on and asked me to make some more for some friends in the same situation. It works up beautifully. She said it was so soft to wear.

Comments about Valley Yarns Goshen:
Using this yarn to make arm warmers for my mother in law - who cannot wear synthetics or wool. She picked out this yarn after looking through WEBS store. The price is reasonable for the type of yarn it is and the amount you get. When it arrived I immediately noticed how soft and supple the yarn was. The color is even and gorgeous - I got the sage green for her and its very neutral so she can wear them with many outfits as her arms are the only area of her body that gets cold, even in summer. I am currently knitting them and enjoy working with the yarn, so far the stitches are clean looking and the yarn over eyelets are very pretty. I would purchase this again without hesitation.

This is the second time I've used Goshen for a summer weight sweater. It knits up beautifully and creates a sweater that is soft and just the right weight for cool summer nights.
