Comments about Valley Yarns Southwick:
This yarn is soft and luscious with a wonderful sheen. The colors are amazing as well (I've purchased both Iguana and Blue Mist). I will certainly purchase more in various colors.

Comments about Valley Yarns Southwick:
I'm very happy with this yarn - it has a beautiful drape and hand, that subtle almost-sparkle from the bamboo fibers, and best of all, doesn't seem prone to splitting in spite of its single-ply construction. Colors are lovely too. It's knitting up for me at 5 spi on size 6 bamboos. I'll happily reorder this for spring and summer projects.
Comments about Valley Yarns Southwick:
Nice colors, but I'm finding this yarn splits easily, and any little part that's not knit perfectly shows right up.
Comments about Valley Yarns Southwick:
Soft, supple, with a slight but now overwhelming sheen and great drape. I do agree with previous reviews this is closer to a light worsted or DK weight, but it's a fabulous yarn and I will use again and again.
Comments about Valley Yarns Southwick:
To clarify in the previous review was meant to say NOT overwhelming sheen :)
Comments about Valley Yarns Southwick:
There is a sparkly, unexpected sheen to the yarn, at least in the winter lake. Crocheting with the yarn, it felt like a worsted weight.
Comments about Valley Yarns Southwick:
This is a really beautiful yarn! Definitely a DK and not worsted. The drape is beautiful - it does not fuzz and is very soft. I even machine washed it and it did not really shrink although I don't recommend that.
Comments about Valley Yarns Southwick:
This is SOOOO not a worsted weight yarn, which kinda sucks since I purchased it for a specific purpose based on it being labeled Worsted. It IS still a beautiful yarn for any of your DK projects.
