Comments about Ashland Bay Corriedale Cross:
I am learning to felt. This roving was perfect to work with. Plus the price is great for learning with. If I make a mistake I can still aford to make it.

Comments about Ashland Bay Corriedale Cross:
I use this as a base for felt-making, and it works out just fine. It felts easily, is not hairy or coarse, there is no vegetable material in the fleece. It is easy to lay out wisps--great neutral color and a good value for the price. I will be ordering more again soon.

Comments about Ashland Bay Corriedale Cross:
This fiber isn't as soft as some others I have received, but as a fiber for a beginning spinner, I would definitely recommend it! I had never spun in my life and I started this on my new spindle. It has a nice long staple length and, though it does tend to bunch up in places, it's mostly easy to draft. And when the fibers do bunch up it doesn't show too noticeably. Overall it is making a nice yarn so far. It does tend to shed a bit and get up my nose, but I imagine that's the case with most fiber so I'm not complaining :)
