Louet Eastport Alpaca Roving is a blend of 70% American grown alpaca fiber and 30% Louet North America Dyed Merino Top. The blend is carded, not combed, providing one of the few carded, colored fibers on the market. Eastport Alpaca Fiber is all American grown fiber and pooled by Eastport Alpaca of Maine. Spinning this will be a dream! Made in USA.

This stuff is very easy to spin, it comes almost as pencil roving, with no little balls of wadded up fiber. It is very soft. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that it's quite expensive and the color selection isn't great. But it is gorgeous fiber.
