These were standard Kromski bobbins for my Minstrel. I found I needed more as I worked with different yarns and had "leftovers" I planned to continue in refilling. The bobbin capacity is great. I get two large skeins off of two full bobbins plyed on two other bobbins. I got the walnut color as that was on sale, but it is hard to "read" darker yarns when on the wheel on the dark bobbin. Would prefer the natural colored.

As I love my Kromski wheel for it's beautiful woodwork and classic design, I also love the bobbins that go with it. I would always recommend getting a finish on them though, as the unfinished ones are not as durable or smooth.
