Valley Yarns #16 Square Shawl
This shawl is fringed on all sides, making it look the same from all directions. The 2/10 Merino/Tencel is lovely to handle and easy to use. Woven on a 60” loom, it can be easily adapted for a narrower loom. Available as a downloadable PDF only.
Equipment: 4-shaft loom, 56” weaving width; 1 shuttle
Size: 50” x 50” plus fringe
Warp & Weft: Valley Yarns 2/10 Merino/Tencel, 3 cones navy, 1 cone plum
Warp Length: for 60” shawl is 2 yd 24”. The yarn is rather elastic so the measurement on the warping board is longer than the relaxed warp.
Sett: 16 epi (8-dent reed)
