These placemats are a great way to use up odds and ends of coned cotton yarns that have been cluttering your shelves. The warp and one of the two wefts is 5/2 Valley Cotton in two contrasting colors. There are two wefts: the first is one of the two warp colors; the second, heavy weft is multiple ends of a variety of colors and weights of cotton yarns, both mercerized and unmercerized, in sizes from 5/2 to 10/2. This is a great way to use up yarns left from previous projects.
