Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 5/2
The Valley Yarns line of mercerized perle cottons in 3/2, 5/2, and 10/2 is put up on standard one pound cones for weavers and machine knitters. The Valley Cotton line features 50+ sumptuous colors dyed for color fastness, but of course, be sure to test your sample the way you want to finish your fabric. Spun, and dyed exclusively for WEBS in Brazil.

Love, Love, LOVE this yarn. The price is right and the sheen is amazing! I've used this yarn for literally hundreds of projects. The only thing is that the website says the sett is 12-18, but it's really 20 if you're looking for a tight weave. So keep that in mind when planning your warp length!I always use a 10 dent reed with this yarn.

Used for towel warp with 4/2 unmercerized cotton for weft. I have lots of this 4/2 and was looking for something that would complement it for towels. This 5/2 cotton works wonderfully - easy to work with as well!

I weave scarves with this yarn. The sheen is gorgeous and my customers love it because so many are allergic to wool or dislike wool. It's great for both winter and three season scarves. I also use the handwoven fabric to sew various othe accessories. It also takes dye very well for ikat weaving.

this is a little less shiny and has more drape than some other brands. the difference was noticeable right away,however the results in the finished product were imperceptible.i would buy this yarn again.

All the cone yarn I've purchased from WEBS seems to be smoother, stronger and softer than any other sources I've used. I rarely have a broken warp thread and my finished towels are thick, absorbent and long lasting! Towels that I've made over ten years ago that are used daily look as good today as when they came off my loom.
