I used Noro Kureyon to make a throw for a birthday gift for my sister. The colors are vibrant and help create a patchwork effect. I love the way knitting with Noro surprises you...you can't really know what it will look like until it's finished and no two items will ever look the same.

    Comments about Noro Kureyon:

It was not as soft as I expected. I would not recommend it for a scarf that is close to the face, a little too scratchy.

      Comments about Noro Kureyon:

I find this yarn great for making hats as it tends to be coarse and only 100 yards... great customer service, that is why I am always back for more!

        Comments about Noro Kureyon:

This is fun yarn and wonderful striping. However, the colors in each ball are different, so if trying to do a smaller item it might be difficult to make it look right. Maybe better for larger items. E.G. one ball has no teal or green, the other has no orange or red. Hard to make it work on a small scale if you are looking for any kind of repeat.

I have used this yarn for the fingerless mitts I make. I love to see the stripping unfold as I knit. You never know what you are going to get. I have used this yarn for cowls too but I find it is a bit itchy for neck. Love it for mitts!

                    Comments about Noro Kureyon:

I am making a gorgeous entrelac sweater with this and the yarn variegation is perfect. I am unhappy with the lack of care taken when the yarn is knotted--every now and then they had to knot a new strand to make enough for a skein, and each time there was NO care taken to follow the variegation, so the change is abrupt and doesn't look good. Bad enough to find a knot in the middle of a skein, but for the yarn color to be disrupted is very frustrating
