Comments about Valley Yarns 10/2 Tencel Natural:

This is a great warp yarn. Since I dye all my warps using a variety of techniques I want a yarn that is a sponge for colour. This is it. I do wish there was more than just natural available. Colours provide greater potential for me without having to dye the background before I start with whatever else is going on.

I weave scarves with this yarn after dyeing the warp. It dyes beautifully, resists tangles, and the warp ends are very strong. Beautiful drape and shine! The perfect yarn.

I have successfully used this product as both warp and weft.
I also hand dyed to coordinate with a weft yarn and pleased with the results.

Comments about Valley Yarns 10/2 Tencel Natural:

This yarn takes both Fiber reactive dyes and indigo dye wonderfully, I have not tried other dyes with this yarn so I cannot evaluate how it takes other dyes. I enjoy tencel as a cheaper silk alternative, outside of silk this is really the only other yarn I like to use. It has a beautiful drape to it after it is woven and washed. I have also found it blends smoothly within a multiple fiber weaving with silk and cotton.
My favorite use for this weight tencel is for scarves, they carry such beautiful drape, color, and are not too warm for spring and summer wearability, along with minimal snags from regularly wearing and washing.

10/2 tencel is a good weight

Comments about Valley Yarns 10/2 Tencel Natural:

10/2 tencel is a good weight for both warp and weft. It makes a lighter weight more easily wearable fabric than 8/2 tencel. I wish the 10/2 came in colors.
