Comments about Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 3/2:
I love this 3/2 thread. It's a nice texture and easy to work with. It comes in so many beautiful colors. Great for crocheting. I use a size 3.0 mm hook. I machine wash on delicate. Item is blocked and air dried. I'll be back for more as needed!

Comments about Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 3/2:
I regularly weave huck baby blankets for co-workers and friends and this is my favorite yarn for that. It comes in lots of colors so I can match blankets to the decor of the baby's room. It wears well and washes well - the blankets I weave are meant to be used, not just shown off so this is really important.

Comments about Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 3/2:
I'm trying to hone my machine knitting skills. This yarn is lovely. It knit up beautifully on my machine (singer-700). It's soft and has a good sheen. I'm going to try a finer gauge next time, since cotton can get heavy, but this was great yarn.

Comments about Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 3/2:
This is my go-to thread for string bags. Great color, plenty of thread on a cone to avoid joins, and not too bulky. I have three more colors on my wish list, although I still have several cones I haven't had a chance to use yet. I also got this weight to try making a bedspread; haven't gotten to that yet either.

This yarn worked very well in my project, which was weaving the "space-saving mats" suggested in Liz Gipson's bok Weaving Made Easy.
