Embellishments: 15 yds sport-weight, dk or worsted-weight yarn in 3 colors for rosebuds and posies, 10 yds for leaves and 5 yds for tendrils.

Needles: US 15 and 17 (10 and 12.75mm) needles for slippers. US 4 or 5 (3.5 or 3.75mm) needles for embellishments or size appropriate to yarn

Gauges:
8 sts and 10 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch with 2 strands held together on larger needles
10 sts and 12 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch with one strand on smaller needles
