This sporty little jacket will make your child a standout in any arena! It features a simple diagonal stripe pattern on
the body contrasted with wider vertical stripes of the sleeves, and a kimono-style front closure with 2 outside buttons and one inside. Easy drop-shoulder construction allows for quick finishing too. And because of the front overlap, you can make it fit a growing baby longer simply by moving the buttons to allow more room.

Gauge: 28 sts and 32 rows per 4” (10 cm) in stranded pattern on larger needles.
Needles: Size 6 US (4.0 mm) 16” circular needles for body, or size you need to get gauge. You’ll also need a 16” or 24” circular needle 2 sizes smaller for the edgings. So if you get gauge with a size 6, your edging needle will be a size 4. As always, do a gauge swatch before you start to ensure that your finished project will be a success.
