This pattern book provided me with my new favorite pattern - the pinwheel. Since I purchased the pattern book, I have made about 5 pinwheel blankets of all sizes and colors. I have even made my brother a full-size pinwheel blanket. It also introduced me to knitting with 2 strands of yarn, which I also love. This purchase has truly renewed my love of and interest in knitting. Turns out to be one of the best purchases of my life, since I plan to make several more full-size pinwheel quilts for family and friends.

I made the striped blanket and really enjoyed it. The pattern is so easy to personalize with your own color choices. I used the same colors that were in the sweater I knit the baby and it made a wonderful gift.

I was given this book as a gift and have used it over and over again to produce the most beautiful baby blankets. The directions are simple and easy enough for beginner knitters.

These pretty baby blankets are easy to make. I've made a half dozen of them for grandchildren and friends' new babies. The pattern I'm working with now has encouraged me to try eyelet stitch.
