In the past year, I have made about seven gift pairs and have several more planned. I found it easy to size up for men and to size down for children. Except for child size, I have used the Valley Yarns Bershire in solds and in hand-dyed. Rave reviews from recipients. I did some extrra work around thumb opening(cast on one extra stitch at each end then bound off extra stitches on next row)to avoid any hole at edges.
