Pixie Dust Cowl (Free)
The Pixie Dust Cowl is sure to warm up your neck knit in a super bulky yarn. With fun colors and just a touch of sparkle, it makes a great quick knitted gift.
Yarn: 1 skein of Knit Collage Pixie Dust in Amethyst
Needles: 1 set of 24" circular needles size US 19
Instructions:
Using backwards loop method, cast on 24 stitches.
Join for working in the round being careful not to twist stitches.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Purl
Rows 3-8: Knit
Row 9: Purl
Bind off loosely knitwise.
Weave in ends with a crochet hook.
Blocking not required but recommended.

This yarn does work up well as a once piece scarf. I did modify this pattern slightly. Instead of casting on 24sts, I used 40, then proceeded to complete with 10 rows to complete the entire skein of yarn. this pattern does work well using the purl or reverse side stitching.
