This stylish jacket can go from the office to weekend outings with the family. Simple garter stitch between columns of lifted stitches is a fun and pretty stitch pattern. The waist shaping is optional and the jacket is easily lengthened or shortened according to your preference. Showcase your favorite buttons on the front and wear it proudly!

Finished Chest Sizes: 33.75 (38.75, 42.75, 46.75, 51.75, 53.75)”  Choose the size that is 3-4” larger than your actual chest measurement.

Gauge: Sleeves: stockinette stitch on larger ndls: 21 sts and 24 rows per 4” (10cm), after blocking.
Body: 20 sts and 33 rows per 4” (10cm) in Chart A pattern on larger needles, after blocking.

Needles: As always, these needle sizes are suggested starting points for swatching. Use the sizes you need to get the right gauge based on your swatch results.
For body: Size 8 US (5.0 mm) circular or straight needles
For trim: Size 6 US (4.0 mm) circular needles and double point needles (or 2 sizes smaller than your other needles)

Yarn: 990 (1125, 1240, 1430, 1600, 1725) yds of worsted weight yarn.

Notions: 5 buttons (7/8” size), 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle & scissors.
