Stockbridge
Valley Yarns 120 Falling Leaves Shawl and Scarf
The simple lace pattern used for these garments automatically pulls to the bias to make a trapezoid shape instead of the usual rectangle. A combination of knits, purls, yarnovers, and k2tog, this is a great project for anyone who has been too intimidated to try a “charted” pattern. Your reward will be a graceful, elegant, yet very functional finished garment. The scarf or shawl will be beautiful to wear or give as a gift.

This was only my second knitting project (I'm a crocheter) and I was so happy with the results! I chose Stockbridge in a soft yellow color and knit up the most amazing scarf with it! I was so pleased with the results! Give it a try!
