Comments about Cascade Yarns Cotton Club:
This yarn is a bit troublesome in that it is quite loosely plied and tends to unwind itself into a bundle of individual strands. It is also very visible if you split the yarn as you work, or end up with one strand looser than the others.
That said I have used this yarn several times and am always pleased at the end result. I did a baby blanket in Tunisian (k hook) and it came out wonderfully springy and cuddly. I've also used it for stuffed toys and there it has a nice balance of being stiff enough to hold a shape yet soft and huggable.
So I have mixed feelings about this yarn! I tried it for the first time on Deal of the Day and I've also bought it on regular WEBS closeout. At that price, I like it. I would not pay the listed retail rate for this yarn though.
The yarn itself is fine - even dye, no knots in the 9-10 skeins I've bought, and a fairly easy to find & use center-pull.

I made a jacket, and I it worked up real nice. I had no problems with it. In fact, I bought more to make another jacket!

this yarn bothers your hand and splits...only do very simple knitting if you buy it
