Today’s crochet is fashion-forward, used by designers like Missoni, Marc Jacobs, and Dolce & Gabbana. With the wonderful new yarns and unique patterns available now, why not learn to crochet? It’s fun to learn and faster than knitting. With four basic stitches, an infinite variety of projects will be accessible to you. In this class, students will learn about gauge, yarn weights and correlating hooks, crochet tools, and how to read basic directions in a pattern. It’s invaluable as an edging or embellishment for knitted and woven projects, so pick up a hook and start chaining.
