Tunisian crochet techniques offer yarn enthusiasts stitches that make for unique fabrics in a flash. In this class, students will learn some advanced Tunisian stitches and combinations, yarn types that work well with Tunisian techniques, tips for improvising from your stash (novelty yarns will have their day), and finishing techniques. Students will be able to complete at least one infinity scarf and maybe two, depending on time and proficiency.

Tunisian hook, various sizes depending on your yarn choice - at the least, one size 10/J
Smooth, solid light-colored worsted weight yarn for sample stitches in class
Yarn of your choice for final project. Suggested: Three different colors of the same or different yarns with the same or similar fiber content. Feel free to use your stash! at least 275 yards of each yarn. Some suggested yarns are Valley Yarns Northampton or Cascade 220 or 220 Superwash
Crochet hook for finishing
Review and practice the basic Tunisian stitches: specifically, Tunisian simple, knit, purl, and the standard closing.
