Would you love to give handmade gifts for the holidays, but feel overwhelmed by the idea? In this series of workshops, we will complete three versatile projects that can be tailor made for almost anyone and any occasion. We will make a set of three knitted and felted stacking bowls, complete with embellishments, a pair of candy cane striped arm warmers with jingle bells, and a washcloth knit in the round. While the sample projects have a distinctly winter holiday theme, we will discuss ways to modify the patterns to suit whatever occasion you need a gift for. In the last workshop, we will “wrap it up” with ideas for packaging your unique handmade gifts with embellishments made from your leftover yarn. Participants should be comfortable knitting in the round on double-pointed needles. Please note: Felting of one project will be done by participants at home.
