Knitting the Knitter's Almanac

Many consider Elizabeth Zimmermann's Knitter's Almanac to be the definitive knitting text for her trademark humor and common-sense, irresistible patterns. Now you can expand your knitting skills and learn the techniques EZ used to help guide you through these timeless projects the year 'round. This semester, students will make the Aran Sweater, the Ganomy Hat, and a pair of Norwegian Mittens. Skills learned include making a sweater in the round from measurements, reading cable and color charts in the round, working cables, weaving (grafting), i-cord borders, steeking, and two-color knitting on double-pointed needles.
