If you’ve ever looked at a pair of hand knit socks and wondered how they were made, this is the class for you! In this class you will learn how to make a basic sock and how to use this knowledge to make any sock there is! By making a toddler sized sock, participants will learn how to turn a heel and create the toe of the sock, all while completing a quick project. Be warned, sock knitting can be highly addictive! Please be sure you are comfortable knitting small projects in the round, on double-pointed needles, before registering for this class.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
Cast on 32 stitches in a sport weight yarn, using needles appropriate for the yarn. Join in the round and knit, in 2x2 ribbing, for 3 inches.
Instructor: Lindsey Lindequist
Date: Saturdays, 11/16, 11/23, 2013
