Have you ever admired a sweater with Aran or Gansey patterning? How about a breathtaking lace shawl? These beautiful designs are created with textural techniques that look complicated but are easy to learn. In this four workshop class, you will work through chart reading and symbolcraft as well as many knit and purl stitch patterns, cables, bobbles, lace, and twist stitch designs.
Skill Level: Intermediate

Date and Time: Mondays, 9/24, 10/22, 11/19 and 12/17; 6pm - 8pm
Materials Required: Approximately 1200-1300 yards of worsted weight yarn (sample uses Valley Yarns Northampton) Do not choose black or navy blue yarn. Light colored yarn is strongly recommended. Please note: You may use stash yarns, but since the squares made in this class will all be the same size, you may decide to put the squares together into a small blanket or other project, and might want to choose yarn accordingly. Needles in size US 7 or needles that give you a gauge of 4.5 stitches per inch
