If you've been wanting to see what weaving preparation is really about before signing up for a weaving class, or if your warping skills are rusty, this workshop is for you. The class will primarily be a demonstration of warping the loom back to front with a raddle in the same way that it is taught in WEBS' beginning weaving classes. There will be an opportunity to have a little hands-on experience. If time permits, there will be a warp winding demonstration as well.
Skill Level: Beginner Instructor: Barbara Elkins Date: Sunday, 2/23/14 Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm Materials Required:
A handout detailing the method used to dress a loom back to front with a raddle will be given to all attendees. In addition, students should bring note-taking materials. Since this is not a hands-on class, no looms or other materials are needed.
