A clean, simple little cardigan with split cuff detailing and hidden waist shaping. The ribbing nicely shows off the marbled effect of the Malabrigo yarn.

Skills Needed: You must be able to knit and purl, increase, decrease, and work short rows. (Read the short rows tutorial for more information).

Size: small (medium, large, x-large)

NOTE: Because this is a ribbed and open cardigan design, you will get a range of sizing. The first measurement is with the rib pattern relaxed and unstretched, the second measurement is what the cardigan will stretch to.

Finished Measurements: 
    * Bust : 32-34 (35-38, 39-42, 43-46)"
    * Length: 19 (20, 22, 24)"

Yarn: 5 (5, 5, 6) skeins Malabrigo (100% Merino wool, 100g/ 216 yards) sample knitted in color 117 Verde Adriana.

Needles: 24" or longer circular # 8 and a set of #8 dpn or second circular #8 and cable needle or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: There is no buttonhole in the pattern; I use a brooch to close this cardigan. You could add a button-hole to the right front band if desired.

Gauge: Using #8 needles and 2 × 2 rib stitch unstretched 20 sts in 4", slightly stretched 15 sts in 4".  26 rows in 4" relaxed (unstretched).
