Mountain Street Arts Care Labels
Have you always wanted to put a label in something you've made so the recipient will know how to care for it?
Well, now you can. You spend many hours making your hand made items. These care labels are printed on soft cotton twill natural ribbon and are ready to be sewn into your garment. These labels will not be scratchy against the skin. They measure 5/8 x 2" and are cut to size. The top edges are finished and the side edges are cut with pinking shears so they won't fray. They can be sewn into a seam or into the neckline.
Set includes 4 labels of each (16 labels total) : Dry Clean Only, Hand Wash Lay Flat to Dry, Machine Wash and Dry-Gentle, Machine Wash Lay Flat to Dry.

Comments about Mountain Street Arts Care Labels:
I knit primarily for family. Since I've been using these labels I have gotten many positive responses. Everyone is pleased that they now have permanent labels affixed to the items rather than a printed set of care instructions that they have to file. It also reassures me that, after all my work, my gifts won't accidentally get felted!

Comments about Mountain Street Arts Care Labels:
I like the idea of labeling the garments I knit for others. Basic care insturctions without complicating them with details on yarn labels or written insturctions. Which I've given as a side item to the gift or garment I've made.

Comments about Mountain Street Arts Care Labels:
I put this label in a cashmerino sweater I made for my newborn niece. These labels are such high quality and very soft. I didn't have to worry about them rubbing her delicate skin. I put a lot of time into knitting this gift and the label contributed to its quality. Thank You!

These labels are great - i love the designs and the care instructions are just what i needed to help the non-knitter's keep lovely knits intact.

These are just rubbery iron-ons put on twill tape. Looks more like DIY labels

Comments about Mountain Street Arts Care Labels:
Had been looking for labels to attach to hand knitted baby blankets. These were just what I wanted. However, I would suggest that instead of having a selection of four different labels, perhaps individual packages with each individual instruction. What I mainly bought these for were for the Machine wash, dry gently. Could use more of those.
