I have used these for over a week comes back and hits me in the chest or in my face if I'm working without my glasses on. The length between the hook and the handle is too long. I find myself holding it just with my forefinger above the handle. Also I feel the angle the hook is set in the handle is off. I feel like I have to hold the hook almost on the sides of the handle instead of where the fingers are meant to be placed during crochet. I didn't buy mine from WEBS I got them somewhere else.This is the second time I'm leaving this review. The first one was never posted.

Well, this AMAZING Skacel Addi Swing Hook has become my "GO-TO" hook for all crochet projects that I undertake. Every single time I approach my yarn and choose a project, I pick up this hook first. I was very amused when I realized recently that, since I only have it in the F/4.0mm size (so far!), I had begun to subconsciously choose projects and yarns that explicitly fit the hook … and not the other way around!

The comfort of the grip is beyond compare. The ease of the movement exactly matches my own stitching motions. In my hand, the angle of the hold works perfectly.

One thing, in particular, that I want to point out as MOST excellent about the Skacel Addi Swing Hook is that it has a very smooth and nicely-shaped, rather "rounded" hook. I've found this promotes (or "allows," in my case) MUCH less accidental splitting of the yarn. What an absolute God-send for me.

Sigh. I guess the time has come for me to break down and actually purchase this amazing creation in a few more sizes ... :-)

Without a blink of hesitation, I would recommend the Skacel Addi Swing Hook ... every second of every day to every person who even THINKS about crocheting. Even at the somewhat double-take inducing price, you really will be happy about making this choice.

The hook itself is as smmoth as the knitting needles. Yarn doesn't catch but the best part is the handle which is long and comfortable. It's design is great for large or arthritic hands.
