For a beginner like me there were no instructions on how to put the cables together and how to use 2 different sized hooks on each end of the cable. Totally confused and dissappointed because these were expensive and now I have to search for instructions to use them!!

I bought this kit as a Christmas present for my mother. She is already halfway through a blanket and I can't wait to see how it turns out. She loves the kit.

I am so glad that I purchased this set. I was concerned about the connections with the cables, since I had used a set from another company that did not connect smoothly and allowed the yarn to catch....very frustrating!
These hooks and connecters are very smooth. crocheting with them is a breeze....no yarn snags yet. There is even a little tool with the set that enables you to make the connection tighter.
One thing I would change is to have 1 or 2 larger hooks in the set. I'm not sure that I will ever use the smaller hooks, so having the option to select a set with a different size range would be nice.

Can't say enough about how wonderful these are - a real pleasure to use and so versatile! I wanted something that would go easily on a plane and these more than meet the need - my metal hooks are toast! Many thanks for a wondrous product!

I was looking forward to adding these to my Knitters Pride knitting needle sets, but the first time I used them I was disappointed. The hooks and cables are not a smooth as the ones that are in the knitting needle sets. I found that the hooks kept splitting the yarn.
The connectors that came with the set do not fit. They are males connectors which do not fit on the cable ends.
A real disappointment for me for a Knitters Pride product.

I'm allergic to plastic needles and metal needles seem heavy. I've bought bamboo, but didn't like the feel of them (sort of rough). These are delightful to use. My only problem is the connecting tail tends to curve causing a drag on the needle...I have to constantly adjust the direction of the hook. Had to go on line to see how to assemble. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars.

The needles feel great to use and the choice of cable lengths is great. system for attaching cables to needles is excellent. Just would like a case that is as elegant as the needles!!

I have owned this set of Tunisian crochet hooks and cords for about 3 months now, and have made 2 complete projects with them, using 3 different hook sizes. I am new to Tunisian crochet, but have been crocheting for about 9 years.

I love the feel of these hooks in my hands. Admittedly, I have always preferred hard wood hooks to metal, plastic, or bamboo. I prefer hooks with a thumb notch, but I realize that isn't practical when doing Tunisian crochet.

It is easy to join the cords to the hooks, with a screw-in-place mechanism, but to get them tight enough not to come undone during use requires a small metal key (which is easy to lose!). When working, the loops of yarn slide easily across the join in both directions. I found that the cords tend to want to stay coiled, which can be annoying, as it makes the hook turn in the hand, but bending the cord slightly in the opposite direction helps.

Overall, other than the minor annoyances mentioned above, this set is a dream to crochet with!

Love using these hooks for Tunisian crochet. The colors of the wood are really beautiful and the hooks allow for easy gliding of various yarn types. The extensions come in a variety of lengths which allow for a wide range of projects. Their connections are seamless and do not snag or catch your yarn as your stitches go over them. The cords are very flexible unlike some other extensions on the market. The only thing that I could see improvement on these hooks is to make the head tip just a tad more pointy and not so rounded allowing going into stitches to be a little easier. Other than that they are just a wonderful tool to use making my hooking much more fun and just what I had been searching for.
