Valley Yarns 425 Cosmos Toe-Up Crocheted Socks Kit
With one simple, additional step to a standard crochet stitch you can create a fabric that is perfect for socks. I was inspired by Melissa Morgan-Oakes’ 2aaT Toe-up heel and it works beautifully in crochet. Working these from the toe up means you can make socks that truly fit.
Finished Size: US women’s shoe size Small 3-6 (Medium 6-9, Large 8-12)
Yarn: 2 (2, 3) hanks Valley Yarns Huntington (75% Superwash Merino Wool/25% Nylon, 50g/218yds) color 0021 Mauve
Hook: US A (2.00mm)
Gauge: 7 sts and 6 rows = 1" in foot pattern

This pattern was not my first attempt at sock making. At the beginning of Round 2 there is an error, resulting in one sc too many. Thought I was going crazy with my stitch count on this round, followed instructions to the "T". Finally discovered there were errors in the instructions. Continuing to the heel section...unclear, insufficient instructions. Sorry I actually paid for this mess! Found another FREE one online. Finally, I have a good pattern!
