This wisp of a shawl is crocheted top down, in a pattern stitch that reminds me of the Scottish thistle. Each thistle is embellished with a #6 seed bead in the Aurora Borealis finish, and beads accent the edging as well. It’s perfect for a holiday party, an evening out, or as a gift for a treasured friend.

Hooks: US F/5 (3.75mm); #10 steel hook for bead placement
Other Materials: 1.5 ounces #6 seed beads with an aurora borealis finish
Gauge: approximately 2 pattern repeats = 4” both vertically and horizontally. Pattern is very stretchy so exact gauge is not critical.
