This simple, crocheted cozy will help you insulate and carry your favorite beverages, water bottles, soups, or canned goods. The base acts as a built-in coaster while the roomy carrying strap can be clipped to a bag or belt loop. Eyelets under the strap let you see how much of the contents remain. An additional security strap stretches over the top of a jar, but can easily be slid out of the way when necessary.

Yarn: 1 skein Valley Yarns Northampton (100% wool, 247 yds / 100g) color Gold Heather (about 50 yds used)

Hook: US size 7 (4.50mm) crochet hook or size needed to get gauge
