I ordered a gift card today for a friend. We know that WEBS aims to please and to not recommend a gift card is a bit odd. While we may not want to contact Customer Service all the time - that's what they are for - to help you with a question. Also, on the back of the gift card are some basic instructions on how to use the gift card online. A gift card lets someone pick out what they want, helps them purchase something special and takes the guessing out of what to get someone. That can't be all bad.

These gift cards must be snail-mailed, so you have to pay for postage and allow time for delivery. Not very convenient. It makes no sense to have to snail mail something that is ordered online and then used online!!
I wish there was an "electronic gift card" option where you could send the gift via email, so the recipient can receive it and use it right away.

These gift cards are great! I tell everyone who doesn't know what to get me about WEBS gift cards. I'm not sure why others are having trouble using them, just enter the information from the card when you place your online order, and the amount comes off your total. It couldn't be easier! And I get to pick exactly what yarn and colors I want.

While a rather convenient way to gift someone some yarn and 'get it right,' it would significantly improve useability of the card if the instructions for use were clearly stated both in the description and above the 'special instructions' box where the code is entered how to use the card (for example, above the special instructions box, change the text to read 'Special instructions and/or enter gift card number to redeem.'). Having to go to a FAQ to find out that's how the card is used is rather inconvenient.
