Another variation on Rowan's wildly popular Kidsilk Haze yarn: Kidsilk Haze Glamour takes some of your favorite shades and adds some glitz with a thread of tiny, translucent sequins. It's just enough sparkle to accent the airy, ethereal look of Kidsilk Haze, especially in a gossamer lace stitch. Kidsilk Haze Glamour is perfect for the holidays: great for accessories, garments, and more.

Comments about Rowan Kidsilk Haze Glamour:
I LOVE this yarn, I am just SO EXCITED about it! I'm using it for a cropped cardigan to wear with a holiday dress (the dress is too bare for me without a cardigan, shrug or shawl). PLEASE NOTE: the colorway I purchased was BLUSHES, a dark shade of English rose (many clothing companies, e.g. Free People, are currently calling colors like this "berry"). The addition of very-sparingly-distributed-tiny-silver-sequins adds JUST that special slightly-dressier holiday kind of touch. I picked this yarn because I have a leftover skein of the Blushes colorway in (time-honored classic Rowan yarn) Kidsilk Haze -- when my leftover Blushes KH caught the corner of my eye in my stash pile, I thought that the same colorway in THIS yarn might be the PERFECT yarn for my intended end use. The result? While the Blushes colorway in THIS yarn does turn out to be perfect for my application, I would say: 1.) the yarn gauge is VERY SLIGHTLY heavier than plain old-fashioned Kidsilk Haze. 2.) as for the Kidsilk-Haze-like yarn itself (NOT including the carrying strand with the sequins), I would say the Blushed colorway is VERY SLIGHTLY paler than my leftover skein of plain old-fashioned Kidsilk Haze in BLUSHES. 3.) BUT there's a super-skinny strand of BLACK carrying yarn twisted together with the Blushes-colored mohair yarn -- the TINY SILVER SEQUINS are on this super-skinny carrying yarn. 4.) This super-skinny strand of black, twisted together with the Blushes mohair yarn, makes the color look VERY SLIGHTLY darker than it otherwise would look WITHOUT the addition of the carrying yarn -- in a SUPER-SUBTLE salt-and-pepper kinda way. 6.) I would STILL say that overall, my new order of Kidsilk Haze Glamour in the Blushes colorway looks VERY SLIGHTLY paler than plain old-fashioned Kidsilk Haze in the same colorway. NOT much, just a TINY LITTLE BIT. 7.) All in all, a VERY elegant effect. Try at least one skein -- you'll probably order more! You can NEVER go wrong with Kidsilk Haze or ANY seasonal variation of Kidsilk Haze. That's why Rowan has been making Kidsilk Haze since the dawn of time. I hope they never stop! I'm a HUGE Rowan fan & ANYTHING they make that relates to Kidsilk Haze is ALWAYS a guarnateed favorite of mine. It's SO easy to work with & it ALWAYS looks spectacular.
