This mitten is knit large and loose using sport weight and double pointed needles. Felting is made easy in the washing machine. The finished project is a warm dense medium weight mitten.
Sizes: Child 1-5 (child 6-10, adult medium, adult large)
Yarn: 184(368,368,552) yards 100% non-washable wool, sport weight yarn
(The sample mittens were made with Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport yarn.)
Needles: US 7 double pointed needles
Other Materials: stitch markers, stitch holder
Gauge: 5 sts = 1"
