I'm on my 2nd pair of socks using 1.5 and 2.0 needles. One needle in first set and two needles in second set developed rough patches, and even though I sanded them down carefully a little with a nail file, the yarn still catches continually. It's annoying and I expected better from the company.

I love knitting socks on these!!! Just enough grip to make it easy to NOT loose any stitches. And they don't Ben like the bamboo needles I've been using.

ok, so i have yet to knit with any of these, but i am pleased by their prettiness, and i needed dedicated sock needles, because i have lost/loaned/misplaced most of mine. my plan is to start a new pair, and then i will augment this review.

I bought an individual set of Knitter's Pride DPNs while on vacation (for finishing hat tops) and loved them so much I bought this set from WEBS. They are much smoother and less grippy than other wood or bamboo needles, and have a fairly sharp point that allows excellent control without causing splitting yarn or hurting one's fingertips. I use them for fair isle sleeves in Shetland wool, socks, and hat tops. Why I love Dreamz DPNs: They feel wonderful in the hands and don't fall out of the work, yet I can knit quite fast on them. The set in its simple clear case is easy to keep organized, although it has a plasticy "outgassing" smell for the first few days. It's light and fits easily in a side pocket of my circular needle case. I use these all the time!

These are well made needles to begin with. Add the color coding and now you have great needles. Since I change my needle size often, having the color indicate the size is a welcomed time saver.

These needles are a blessing. Having made them a different color for each size makes it so easy to match up the sets should they become separated. I like to store my needles upright in a decorative vase filled with rice, so with these needles i can place them at random in the vase when i am not using them and then later match them up quickly by color when i am ready to use a certain size.

I use this set for knitting socks and reach for it again and again because it's so easy to get the exact right guage with all the sizes to choose from.

I plan to buy another set so that I can do two socks at the same time.

These are fantastic needles, smooth, easy to use and love the color codes size feature. No more looking for matching needles and they get even nicer with use....Great, now I will go on to buy the cable styles...

I travel a great deal and normally take sock projects on the road with me. I originally bought this set to automatically keep packed in my suitcase to save me the hassle of last minute packing and hunting. The problem I'm now finding is that this needle set has become my "go to" for many stay at home projects. I've asked Santa for a second set to keep exclusively in my suitcase because my current set never stays there. I LOVE the fact that these needles are separated and color coded.
I need all the organizational help I can get! I've used them a great deal and so far they haven't splintered or snapped like other wooden sox needleds....Order yourself a set...You'll be happy!
