Product Details
Twinkle, twinkle, little knit stars, in every color of Northampton Sport! These pretty little stars are made in two simple pieces, first in the round*, then in rows, and sewn together. The ends, secured and buried within, make just the right amount of stuffing. String them into holiday garlands, tree trimmings, or a soft mobile for a baby’s room.
* This pattern has now been updated to include alternate instructions for working the stars entirely in rows.
Finished Sizes: about 4 inches wide
Yarn: 1 skein Valley Yarns Northampton Sport (100% wool, 50g/164yds)
Note: This yarn has been discontinued. We recommend Cascade Yarns 220 Sport (100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 50g/164yds) as a substitution.
Needles: US 3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles or size needed to get gauge
Gauge: 6.5 sts = 1” in stockinette stitch
