Great little tool to have handy in case you need to add length to circular needles. I used these connectors to add length to my circular cord so that I could check for errors in a shawl I was knitting.

I adore the set of Knitters Pride Interchangeable Knitting needles that my mother in-law bought for me last year. I have not gone back to any of my other needles since receiving these. I bought the cable connectors for use with my shorter cables whenever I might need them (blankets and such). I have had other interchangeable sets, and these are by far the best. I love that my knitting does not get snagged in the seams between the cables and the needles. I hope to gather every accessory for the set (and am well on my way with theses) and then I will never need any different needles again!

When you are knitting a shawl, you do not want your stitches bunched up upon each other. Not only does that lead to errors but also you cannot get an accurate view of the shawl's size, nor try it on. When the shawl dimensions exceed your longest cable you absolutely MUST have this joiner to make a longer cable. The joiner does not snag or drag on the stitches.

I am disappointed that at least on of the connectors does not work properly. It does not screw on all the way leaving a problematic gap. One I have not as yet check. I did use one and it worked great and was very helpful in my project. Perhaps quality testing should be done to ensure that they all work properly.
