GREAT intro package! Beautiful needles!
This item is ridiculously convenient. It takes the place of several circular needles, and the smoothness of the needles help me knit almost twice as quickly.

I took these on an extended trip and the versatility of the various sizes and being able to convert from circular to 'straight' came in very handy. However, when they arrived, one needle had a sharp edge right at where the join to the cable is, and I had to file it off to make it smooth so it wouldn't catch on yarn. Personally, I don't like the feel of the wooden needles as they knit the yarn - soft and waxy which makes yarn stick instead of slide. The cable flexibity was great, but overall I like other manufacturer needles betters.

I was thrilled that a combo pack was available to try out! I have knitted with bamboo and wooden needles before, so the cubics and the novas were a nice change. That being said, I was happy I bought the combo pack first, because I discovered that the cubics were not awesome for really intricate lace work (but the novas were awesome!). Because of this combo pack, I ended up purchasing 3 more sets of nova needles! Thank you for the combi pack - much appreciated!

I thought I would try this set as I wanted to try out the cubics. They are great. Actually I cannot list a con so I just listed about the two cables. But for the price it is well worth it. I am going to get a whole set of cubics.

I'm so glad I decided to give the comby sampler a try. I've been through several different sets of interchangeable circulars over the years, and these are definitely my favorites. The cords are pliable and stay tightly screwed to the needle tips. I almost always use steel needles, but the cubics and symfonie have made me a convert. They're extremely lightweight, smooth, and pretty and they feel wonderful in the hand. I am going to order full sets now. Thank you for making the low-cost sampler available so I could discover these great needles!

This set delivers as promised: there are three types of interchangeable needles in three sizes. I had a little trouble with looseness in the joins until I figured out how to use the little tightening tool, but that would have been the same with the complete set.
I appreciate the opportunity to try these needles.

I liked the crome and wood needles but not the square- which is the one I wanted to try because I have other wood and crome interchangables. This gave me a chance to see if I like the square kneedle. I found it difficult to use.

The comby starter kit is a good way to try the interchangable needles. I have used two of them and love the cables. No more fighting with cables that won't straighten out. I really wanted to try the cubic needles, but haven't had the opportunity yet. The other two are great. One of the cubics arrived broken, so I called and received another set in about 3 days without returning the broken ones. Great customer service.
