Knitter's Pride Cubics Fixed Circular Needles 24"
Knitter's Pride Cubics Fixed Circular Needles have a cuboid shape in the body of the needle that gradually gives way to perfectly tapered birch wood needle points. The ergonomic shape is comfortable to hold, lessens the need to grip tightly, and yields uniform stitch formation. The densified, laminated wood is rich in appearance, yet it is also lightweight, strong, flexible, and warm to the touch. Needle size is measured diagonally and these needles fits into standard needle sizers just like round needles. These needles are also available in 32" and 40" lengths.

I love the Cubics fixed circular needles and highly recommend them. I have arthritis in my hands and these are the only needles I can use now to comfortably knit socks in my preferred 2 circ method. I find I knit very nearly at the same gauge with these as round needles although I know many recommend you go up a needle size.

These are the worst needles I have ever used! I opened up the package and started to cast-on when I noticed the needles were "grabbing" the yarn! The needles were not smooth and had splinters. Friends have complained about the needles breaking because they have shoved a square needle into a round connector for the circular needles but I have a new complaint! I tried using an emory board to smooth them, but I had to take off too much! Ugh!

the square shape was difficult for me. I have small fingers that are cold all of the time and the shape just seemed to cut into them.. I loved the smoothness of the wood and the join. I have friends that love them but they have larger hands. The needle is made well and i would recommend people try them.
